Sedation/Nitrous Gas

Through the use of a mask, nitrous oxide, sometimes known as laughing gas, is delivered to provide a mild level of drowsiness. While you will be aware, you will be completely at ease. The majority of patients do not recall the surgery at a later time. Inhalation of nitrous oxide is accomplished by wearing a mask over the nose. The aftereffects are relatively mild, and patients are able to drive themselves home.

For the purpose of determining whether or not you are a suitable candidate for sleep dentistry in Toronto, we examine your medical history, taking into account any forms of therapy that you are presently undergoing. In addition to being a risk-free process, dental sedation may also be used for youngsters who suffer from dental anxiety or who are getting a treatment that is particularly difficult. Prior to and during the administration of sedation, your Toronto dentist will address any prerequisites that may be necessary.
