Tooth Care Back To Services

To help maintain good oral health, keeping a healthy diet along with proper and regular brushing and flossing, along with regular dental cleanings and checkups are helpful to prevent oral health problems from developing.

At a minimum, brush and floss teeth at least twice a day using fluoride toothpaste, and a mouthwash may be helpful in eliminating further bacteria in the mouth.

Conditions like gum disease can contribute to bad breath. Taking medications, eating a poor diet or smoking can also cause bad breath and potentially other oral health concerns. You should also be aware that persistent bad breath can be a sign of more serious problems, and should be discussed with your dentist to help determine the cause and treatment.

Oral health needs to be maintained by everyone, whether they are maintaining natural teeth, or artificial teeth. We all benefit by having teeth that look and function well, and all types of teeth require their own unique care. Speak to our dental office if you have any questions about maintaining your oral health.
